1. Development Progress

Underlying Architecture:

1)The miner node sync has been done with 50% of development;
2)The ABCI module is refactored to actor pattern;
3)The test coverages of peer, addrmgr, connmgr are increased to 70% +. And sync and consensus modules are increased to 70% +;
4)The data initialization is implemented with ABCI. A new node could join the MultiVAC system and participant in consensus;
5)Some bugs of block proposition are fixed.

Transmission and Storage:

1)Working on the refactor of network layer and the basic functions of ConnectionServer are done;
2)Improved the performance of the storage node, and ignored the non-related transactions for single shard storage node;
3)Fixed some bugs in the localized storage on leveldb for storage node.

Other progress:

1)Conducted testnet joint testing, most of discovered issues are resolved.

2. Testnet Names Voted from Naming Contest

Within a week, we are so glad to receive 80 brilliant names and over 350 votes.

At the same time, MultiVAC finalized three testnet names：

1）Testnet 1.0 — Phoenix @RiaMutuc
As the immortal king of birds, Phoenix emblems MultiVAC’s first test network to be like a nirvana, auguring the beginning of MultiVAC’s journey to the future of blockchain.

2）Testnet 2.0 — Enigma @Crypto_for_me
As incredible and fascinating as an Enigma, how MultiVAC testnet 2.0 supports ordinary PC mining is an Enigma attracts countless people to explore.

3）Testnet 3.0 — Oracle @Crypto_for_me
Oracle symbolizes the will of God and the prophecy of the future. Testing Network 3.0, as the closest to the mainnet, takes Oracle as its name to declare MultiVAC‘s determination to be the leader in blockchain 3.0 — the era of large-scale application and mass adoption.

3. MultiVAC Co-Founders Visited Partners in Korea

On Feb.1, MultiVAC Co-Founders visited Korean partners, including Hashed, IDG Capital, NexusOne, Fullstack, and BitMan, and conducted in-depth discussions on the current market environment and future public chain trends.

4. MultiVAC Community Initiated Sharding Killer Design Competition

As the world’s first fast, efficient, and fully sharded blockchain with sharding for not only computation but also transmission and storage. It is called “Sharding Killer” by the members of the community.

Recently, MultiVAC specially held the sharding killer design competition. Community members participated in the creation of Sharding Killer related pictures, videos, articles, and other works, all of which can be awarded MTV rewards. Team battles can also be divided into huge prizes, and more than 150,000 MTV is waiting for you. In just a few days, the team has received more than 60 designs, and the event is still going on, so come and submit your ideas!
